Hi guys,

My wife recently submitted a settlement visa in Jordan.

We are very confident that her visa will be granted as we 'tick all the correct boxes'.

So my question is, if she was granted a a visa to the UK, how long will it be valid for travel? By when will she have to use the visa to the UK before the visa entry expires? Is this 1 month or 3 month?

If granted, the visa will be valid for 33 months. She can enter the UK at any time during that period.

33 months from the date of issue. She has to complete 60 months to qualify for ILR, usually done with two applications. If she comes later than 3 months she might have to make a third application to make up the shortfall, but there is nothing to prevent her entering later than 3 months; she won't forfeit the visa if she chooses to delay.
