I was given a year visa on discretionary leave to remain. I had a court case which ended up with a prison sentence of 8 months. When I was released the Home Secretary sent letter to pardon me. When my visa was sent for renewal , it was refused on the basis that my family did not visit me whiles in prison of which they did. They refusal letter also stated that there is no evidence that there is a strong family life. The refusal letter was sent without any notice of decision neither was an appeal form.My solicitor has written to the home office a couple of times for the application to be reconsidered for almost a year now but has not received any reply. Please where do I go from here.
