Spousal visa

Post by chez125 » Sun Jan 27, 2013 4:58 pm

We are shortly applying for a spousal visa for my Tunisian husband to come to the UK.
In 2010 he was in another relationship with someone from the Uk and they applied for a visitors visa for him to visit the UK for 3 weeks over christmas.
This visa was refused and whilst my husband cannot remember the exact reason he said it had something to do with him not having money in his bank. He does not have the refusal letter anymore but did have a number stamped into his passport.
My question is is this sufficient for the new visa application and will his previous refusal jeopardise our spousal visa applications.
