Tier 1 General ILR continuous resident requirement

Post by ramadnk » Sun Jan 27, 2013 8:12 pm

Hi,

Can some one confirm me that, Tier 1 General visa holder in the UK ( without employed) is considered as a continuous resident in UK, if yes how many days of stay in the UK without employment is considered.

My case, I'm in the UK without employment from November 10 th 2008 to March 24 th 2009, after that absent from the country until 27 July 2009 (from 24 th March to 27 July 2009). and working since then (27 July 2009).

will my UK residence considered from 10th November 2008.

Please some one let me know...

Thanks

Absence from UK is just that - not being physically present in UK, whether in employment or not, paid in UK or overseas or none at all.

For the second part of your question, download/read and work your way through the SetO form (free) from UKBA website.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.
