Processing Time after Bio-metric for Tier 1 Enterpernure

Dear All,

Just want to confirm that how long normally or on an average UKBA takes to process the application after having the Bio-metric enrollment done, if you guys can share your experiences???

As far i know and on the UKBA website they clearly mentioned that 90% of applications processed within the 4 weeks of time after attending the Bio-metric, is that true???

Hi,

Ideally they should decide the application in 4 weeks in total but unfortunately that's not the case at present as people on this forum are still for the outcome for more than 6 months since they given biometric so roughly they are taking around 6 months to decide at present.

OP if you go to UKBA web-site it itells you exact processing times at the moment. Currently, they are considering application where applicant attended biometric appointment on or after 9th of October, so yes, its 3-4 month wait at present i guess.

4 weeks is guidance standards they aim at, but given the chaos at present, the standard may never be reached

Yes you are right the current delay about 4 months after biometric and take take good 4 to 8 weeks before they send you Biometric invitation letter .... but I must say so far I am very lucky below is time line of my case.

Acknowledgement Letter Received : 14/01/2013 (Letter Dated: 10/01/2013)

Biometric Letter Received :26/01/2013

Biometric Given : 29/01/2013

Now the wait game start I am guess 5 to 6 months from now as people who given biometric in June / July they are still waiting for decisions so I don't expect any magic to happen.

A friend of mine applied mid of December still waiting for Biometric letter ... so I guess so far I am very lucky so let see from now what happen.

Just wait ,,, biomatrix letter depends on Officers some one send it straight away nd some one take long time
My one frnd got it with in one week after applying but i recieved it after 25 dayz so i guess nd reality its depends upon officers

Normally they are taking about 5 or 6 months, you also consider what is mentioned on Ukba website they say we are considering applications where applicant has attended bio before 9 oct 12 I am not sure if they consider application after wards what they update on the site. Anyhow I hope we all get positive reply within appropriate time frame.
