Regarding TB screening certificate

Post by kmj_005 » Tue Jan 29, 2013 7:52 am

My wife will be applying for tier 1 general dependent visa for her and our child in another 2-3 months from India. I have a question for taking UK TB screening test in India;
1. How long is the test valid (3 or 6 months)?
2. How is the validity mentioned in the certificate? Will the current UK address be mentioned in the certificate? I might be changing my address by that time, she applies (in other 2-3 months), so should she again repeat the test for the change of address or will the certificate be accepted with the old address. Please request response asap.

Normally TB Screening test is valid for 6 months from the time of issue. What is the age of your child?

Hi,

Did u manage to get your question answered with respect to the old address appearing on the TB certificate,. I am on a similar situation, wherein my husband had intially applied under the wrong category (Tier-1 Dependent) and we got a refusal. Recently he applied under Settlement with the same TB certificate, as its still valid for another 3 months time, but the UK address has changed, whereas the certificate still shows as the old address...

Would it matter, as I am getting a bit nervous now?

Appreciate a reply.
