National 'D' visa for spain (to travel in EU)

Post by avgjoe » Tue Jan 29, 2013 12:12 pm

Hi there
I am a non EU spouse (South African) working & living in the UK under a residence card.

I know that I should be able to travel freely - but I always apply for a Schengen whenever I visit the in-laws (Spain)

Can I not apply for the above mentioned Visa, solely for the purpose of travelling? It's getting very tiring paying for a Schengen every time!

What nationality is your spouse?

What document do you hold? Do you have a residence card of a family member of a Union citizen?
