Life in UK test for applying ILR

Hi,

I am about to apply for my ILR in the month of May 2013 and I need to
take The Life in UK test. I recently came across that there is a change in this and there would be new version of test from March 2013. The below link will tell you more about this

The second link also states that this is effective from March. Please confirm the below doubts of mine.

1) Can I take the test in February 2013?
2) And how long will this result be valid for if I have to apply for the ILR in May 2013?

1) Yes
2) Indefinitely, as the test result does not at the moment have an expiry date.
