Applying for visa after removal

Hi,
Seven years ago a friend of mine was removed from the uk because she over stayed her visa now she wants to apply uk visa.
Will they give her visa? Or what procedure should she go through before applying.

Removed for what reason? If the ban period for her particular circumstances has expired, she is eligible to apply. If you are asking if the application of a person, whose current situation and intended visa category are not known, would be approved then it's simply impossible to comment.
