It will be a waiting game. You will be waiting for one of the following to happen:
1. approval
2. refusal
3. request for further documents etc

1. Well since they held my application since april, am assuming they would have asked for documentation earlier if need be ???

2. Is there a required waiting period, as my solicitor said initially they cant hold my application longer than 6months and its been much longer than that now.

Refusal cannot be possible, as my application is strong and there is no way, I can be asked to leave my daughter who was born and schools here, amongst other strong compelling reasons, but thanks for your advice.

Others in similar situation have asked their local MP's office to look into the matter. And in some cases, MP involvement has secured response (not necessarily expedited review) from UKBA. It might be a route you want to pursue.

well true, thanks for your candid advice, funny enough, I have had so much trouble with the ukba, as last time i was married and my x wife and I had such a problem 4/5 years ago thats what she did.

Will do the same, many thanks

FLR(O) is for further leave to remain, not indefinite leave to remain.

Further leave to remain is issued for a limited period. How long the leave is issued for depends on what category of the rules you have applied under.
