Successful ILR at Liverpool PEO - 16th Jan

Post by Sri4 » Wed Jan 30, 2013 6:06 pm

Thanks to this site and everyone who has contributed to it.

I applied with 1 dependent (wife) who was my dependent since first leave and FLR (HSMP + Tier 1G)

Appointment at Liverpool PEO - 16th Jan

- A lady at first counter asked if i had all the documents, i said yes.
- Next, payment by Visa credit card was successful (called the bank earlier to allow for large amount transactions)
- Was called by a caseworker at a desk who asked for the form Set(o), LIUK and photos and said he needs to do some checks. Didn't ask for any other specific documents but as i had a lot of my docs in a folder, he said i can leave the folder with him.
- After some time, was asked to go for Biometrics. it went straight forward.
- Gave the Biometric form back to case worker. Asked him specifically if he needed any more docs or co-hab docs (which wasnt in the folder i gave him). He said he will call me soon.
- During all this time, the caseworker kept checking the forms, payslips and bank statements.
- Everytime my record was updated, i got an email saying my appointment at PEO today is at 12:30. All mails had the same text and didnt mean much to me.
- Eventually, i was called and given a letter that states all my original docs are returned.
- Was also given another leaflet general wording saying my application for ILR is approved along with my dependents. Nowhere it mentions my or my wife's name.
- Upon asking, he said this should be enough to provide to my employer until BRP arrives. He said BRP will arrive in 10 working days.
- Took overall about 5 hours mostly due to some agent who was representing almost every other applicant present on that day had choked up all the desks.

Documents requested:
-Set (O) form
-Passports (Old and New)
-Life in the UK pass certificates (For me and Mrs)
-Payslips (12 months)
-Bank statements (12 months)
-Photo Copies of bank statements, payslips, LIUK and passport pages.

Got BRP today.
Note on BRP: Call DX within 3 days of your appointment and request for delivery. Else it could take more than a week. As the BRP for dependent would be in separate post, when you call DX, make sure you ask to deliver for all the dependents.
