Name on BRP

I am changing my family name on passport, and i have to travel urgently. Is that ok when i come back and change name on BRP too. If i change name on BRP now then i wont be bale to get BRP ontime.. But when i come back it will be still within 3 months time of name change.. So as we have to change details on brp within 3 months of change, do you think i will be ok with that.. i will keep old passport and new one together with me in case if someone ask me at airport..

Please suggest if i will be ok and there will be no problem while i come back as far i change my name on brp within 3 months.
