Can Money be invested while awaiting for decision

Post by gutentagmk » Thu Jan 31, 2013 3:45 am

Applied to switch from Tier 4 student to Tier1 Entrepreneur, still awaiting decision, I have found a good business but wondering if I am allowed to invest into the business while awaiting for the approval/decision?

I think you can but as long as you can prove it that you have invested in the business and you have remaining money still available to spend, but new rules are in place from today so please check the ukba site for more information.

Take it as ADVISE

i would suggest to wait as you are not sure if you will be granted with visa or not. and if your visa gets refused and your money has gone, you will be risking your self.
Kind Regard,

If I were in your place, I would rather wait for my visa before investing a penny. As long as you have possession of required funds then you should not worry and wait for you visa to come and then invest.

You can, but it's better to wait for the visa first.

exactly, i have also found a very good profitable business but i am still waiting for the homoffice to reply ,its been 7 months now but i will not invest a single pound of my money untill i get the visa , what will you do if you get a refusal will you be able to sell the business quickly and leave the country. i think its plain old common sense.

Thank you for everyone for the kind advice, Still awaiting decision like everyone else. if they refuse they probably loose 200 Grand investment in the country, I won't be disappointed but I would call them losers. Time is money and we are all already in loss for not starting businesses. You come up with new ideas and next week you loose your spirit as you have a car but not a key to Start. :(

I hope they grant permission or it will take more time in appeal:(
