Just a bit worried....about visa application evidence

Post by bluechev » Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:38 pm

Hello, i'm a uk citizen. Got married to my partner overseas on 16th January 2013, I've returned to the UK, he has gone back to his country. We are now applying for his settlement visa. I have just started to fill this in online.
I have all the documents that have been listed previously by persons requesting visa information, and i have also seen the post with the suggested documents i'm ok. but...

- I do not have 12 months worth of payslips or evidence of money going into my account because from March 2012 to September 2012, I was abroad with my now husband on a career break so had no money coming into my account as I was not working during this time. I have resumed my work as normal. I have been employed in my current job for the past 5 years, and my currently salary is £22500 pa, I also have savings of £30k. Will it be a problem if I am now able to provide payslips for the time away, will it be okay to provide payslips for the last 6 months of 2011, first 3 months of 2012 and then payslips from October 2012 to present day?

- Also the SU07 form, once I have provided the documents listed and signed the document. Will I have to give this to the DWP so that they can sign the second page before I send this to my husband for submitting at the embassy in his country?

- Other supporting evidence, my husband isn't very computer literature so I cannot provide msn, email, skpe evidence. Although, we text, talk on the phone, my phone is PAYE or i have used phone cards to contact him. Will this be a problem if I can't provide much of the above?

I have travelled to see my husband every year since 2006, and sometimes have made 2 trips for the year, I can provide, itineries of my trips provided by the travel agents so they can see that we are in contact. Will this be enough. We are hoping that he will be with me in the uk by May 2013.

Look forward to your response. :)
