ILR dependant to apply with in 28 days-difficult situation

Post by kk76 » Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:47 pm

Hello All

I need your expert advise for a difficult situation.
I am going to Apply for ILR -SET(O) route. My wife is a PBS Dependant(came before 9 july 2012 rule)

She will complete her 2 years period on 27 march.
I booked PEO for me and my wife on 27th march. I had bad experience in postal application for waiting more than 6 months. So I prefer PEO. I found out 29th good friday and our visa runs out on 30th march.

Normally, When a main applicant before completes 5 years period-they apply for visa on completing 4 years 11 months 3 days . Can a Dependant apply for visa just near to 2 years (1 year 11 months 3 days)? Can I apply on March 15th instead of 27th march(hard to find appointment exactly on 27th)?

2. If it has to complete exactly 2 years , do i need to apply on 27th march or 28th march?

3. For 2 years proof::::When she came to UK in march, we opened joint account only in July 2011. Is it enough, If i shown joint account statement from July 2011 to till date?

4. Please let me know list of documents that i need to show for Cohabitation proof(2 years)

Thanks

Regards
KK

The following link says
From the following link for SET (O) application http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ormset(o)/

It is mentioned that “ The How to apply page explains who who can apply for settlement using application form SET(O), and the amount of time they must have spent living legally in the UK before they can apply. This is called the 'qualifying period'.

Please do not send us your application more than 28 days before the end of your qualifying period. If you do, we may refuse your application with no refund of the fee. However, you must apply before your current permission to stay in the UK ends. You must be in the UK when you apply.
