Can someone please help me, I was born in uk in 1985 my parents were vietnemese and are now british citizens, according to the law change im not classed as British as they werent naturalized until after I was born but according to the vietnemese embassy im not vietnemese either as im over 16, does this mean im stateless? Also how do I find out what I am classed as for definate?

You are automatically British if one of your parents had ILR when you were born.

Alternatively, you are entitled to register under Section 1(4), if you had lived your first ten years in the UK.
