Benefits vs ILR vs Citizenship

Post by TTYL » Fri Feb 01, 2013 11:33 am

Hello everyone,
Im on ILR and in 12months I get to apply for Citizenship.
I have two questions:
- If I claimed benefits i.e. housing, unemployment, would it affect my application for citizenship
- If I was out of the country for more than 90 days would it affect my citizenship?
I really want to get the citizenship thing out of the way no later than 12months.

Please help.

Claiming benefits will have no adverse affect.
Being out of the country for more than 90 days in the 12 months leading up to the application will be a problem.
