questions about Immigration

Hi

This is my first post although I have spent a lot of time reading previous posts and have found the site very helpful. I would just like someone to confirm that we are going about things legally.

I arrived in the US 11-01-06 on a visa waiver which expires on 01-29-07. I am getting married to a US citizen on 01-20-07. We plan to file I 130, I 485 and application for EAD immediatley. Is this leagal and if so how long should I expect to wait for EAD as we are running out of money fast and I need to get a job.

Also, do I need to have a medical examination at this stage or wait until they ask me for it?

We are also planning on moving states shortly after our wedding, will this have any effect on the immigration proceedings?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
