Post by faislondon » Fri Feb 01, 2013 10:21 pm

Dear All,

My Tier 1 visa is expiring on 18 march. I have my appointment for 15 march which is friday. Visa ending on 18th the monday. Could you please suggest if it is safe to apply on 18 march?..In case if they refuse then i can get a chance to appeal. I am planning to re schedule my appointment.

Please suggest.

thank you.

Appointment is very close to expiry of your current visa. So see if you can get an appointment for earlier. Suppose if your application is refused on the 15th then technically u will still have 2 days of visa left and u won't get any appeal as your visa is still valid.

Applying earlier is better because if there is a refusal you can atleast then make a fresh application for extension etc.
Thanks!
