Wrong date on COA

Post by raensnuer » Sat Feb 02, 2013 1:33 pm

Hi everybody I just received my COA.

I applied on 26. January 2013
HO receivied on 28. January 2013

The COA is dated 29. January and it says: Thank you for your application made on 20. January 2013.
(I signed the actual EEA2 application form on 19. January)

I sent some of documents which are dated of 25. January will that effect my application as it doesn't fit the application date?

Wondering if it happened by mistake of data processing team or if they use date on application form. Anyone any ideas?

Many thanks

Does your COA confirms your right to work during the process?

Do those additional documents are dated Jan, 25th because you sent them on that date? If yes then i don't think there is any reason to worry, if no, then well it's little funny to send documents which are with future date on them isn't it?

By the way good that your COA is alright and you can work :)

They just have a later date as we filled the application form a week earlier but waited for another statement and stuff like that afterwards...
Anyway thanks :)

Remember that your status comes solely from your relationship to the EU citizen.

The COA letter could incorrectly say that you are a blue eared alien from Mars who arrived in 1722. But none of that changes your status in the UK.
