Hi All,

I want web link for the following please :

1-“Statement of Changes made in Immigration Rules during 2002-2012 and presented to Parliament for accent by the Secretary to the State Home on 20-07-2012 consequent to Supreme Court of UK judgment in case of Secretary vs. Alvi pronounced on 18 July 2012.

2-Copy of Accent /Approval of above changes given by the Parliament on / around 6th September 2012.

I will be greatful if any one can help on this.

It would help if you shared what specific situation you wanted to be clear on or resolved. The scope of your research is just too wide, unless that's what you want.

Also see statement of changes. Please note that immigration rules is not a legislative provision. It is made pursuant to section 3(2) of the 1971 Act, which confers power on yhe secretary of state, to adopt rules, designed to enhance the purpose and implementation of the Act. Therefore it goes through less parlimentary scrutiny than a legislative provision, which has to be scrutinised by the Lords and the face several procedure.

thanks for the reply. my situation is I applied in June 2012 and decision was made in october.

what was the guidance IDI's at that time while calculating continuous residence period ?
