Hey all!
We have been looking at so many different routes that one of the possibilities has only just occured to us. He is Canadian born, just got his Canadian passport, but we have been looking at all of our options including both of us being able to have dual nationalities.
Anyway for some reason it only just dawned on us that his grandparents on both sides are Italian born. From what I understand (and when he is able to dig out their paperwork) he will be able to apply for a Italian passport.
I just want to check, if he is able to get his Italian passport sorted, he can then travel as an EA national into the UK? (We will be travelling around Europe and going to visit his family in Italy at some point too).
When he goes back he will have to re-enter Canada on his Canadian one, would there be any issues travelling with 2 different passports?
Thanks in advance!
(Just wanted to add, the only reason we are considering the Italian passport is because it gives us so much more freedom to travel in and out of the UK, plus stay longer if he wants to.)
