Tier 4 dependent visa refused but still got Tier 4 General

Post by questionguy65 » Mon Feb 04, 2013 4:41 pm

Hi,

My wife who had already a valid Tier 4 visa until mid 2014, left UK in order to apply for Tier 4 dependent visa. Unfortunately they have refused her. The reason was my course was less than 12 months.

She still has her old visa on her (Tier 4 general). Can she come back to country with that despite the fact that she has been refused for Tier 4 dependent? She is still student and has good attendance.

Thanks.

All of which will need to be evidenced on her return. The dependant refusal will be seen by the admitting officer and he will want to know that the current Tier 4 leave is still being used as intended. What does she have from her sponsor to show that the absence was authorized and that she is still a student on the designated course?
