Thanks for your rely sonub4ualt. I've checked the guidance. Basically, the problem is my accountant letter mentions 'net profit before tax' but my immigration advisor suggested to put the term 'pre-tax profit' instead.sonub4ualt wrote:I have submitted a letter from accountant for self employment income (sole trader) and in my case the accountant had sufficient knowlege what to include in the statement.

I have applied recently in Dec'12 and awaiting decision on my application, so not sure what were the terms used. I cannot recall exactly, but as far as I remember, he mentioned two things gross income and net income. I dont think this should be of any concern, because both the terms pre tax profit and net profit before tax mean the same.
