Tier 1 (General) dependent and divorced - have a BBC

Post by sarrial » Tue Feb 05, 2013 10:12 pm

Submitted on behalf of a friend who needs some help.

I have Tier 1 (General) dependent visa. Have spent 1 and 1/2 years in the UK on this visa. I have separated from spouse who is the main applicant.

I have no recourse to the public funds and do not work.

I have six months old baby born in the UK. What are the options for me to extend my stay in the UK?

Are there any other humanitarian or compassionate basis I can use to stay in the UK?

In the post below you say that you are a Tier1 General Migrant, who would be eligible for ILR in May 2013. Which version of events is true?
