I came to this country on 17th May 2008, can I sent my application eea4 on the 16 may 2013 so they can received it on the 17th? Would that be 5 years?

Also when I can here and apply for resident card it took over 1 years before I got it so it is valid till 2014, would they delay are not give be permanent residence because of haveing a valid residence card.

I need to go and study but they wont accept my residence card for home fee they need me to have permanent card before I can get home fee.

Thank everyone

Cancelling of valid residence card

Post by Jess44 » Wed Feb 06, 2013 4:28 pm

Thanks, one more thing I just wanted to find out can they cancel my valid residence card if I apply for permanent residency and they refused it because reading some of the reason for refusal I am surprised because i thought they would have just ask for additional documents.

No they will not cancel your rc, well if you send all the required documents they will not refuse your application

Make sure you send your eea family member treatry rights documents for past 5 years and proof of residance plus proof of relationship with eea family member and u will be ok
