Hello
I am applying for spouse visa from India. After having 5 uk visas successfully, I had a refusal for Tier 1 last year because the Income Tax certificate my accountant from India had sent to me in the UK had wrong reference number (handwritten 4 on acknowledgement, but typed up 9 on the certificate). I submitted acknowledgement as well but they didnt fax that to IT officials during verification. UKBA tried to verify but it came up false and subsequent appeals were refused.
My question is should I try to explain that it was not my fault and a genuine error? (even though thats not what they have on record and blame BHC delhi for not sending acknowledgement during verification?
or should i just say i had a refusal which im sorry that correct information was not provided and say my current application contains all true information?(not explain too much about the refusal and sort of take the blame on me).
Many thanks
