PSW to Tier 2 (General) - Job title not on occupation shortage List

Hey Eveyone,
i am currently a QA Engineer working for an IT company, my salary is 20K per annum. Im currently on PSW visa which expires on October this year.

I have read that you only need to have a Certificate of Sponsorship and be earning at least 20K per annum to be qualified for a Tier 2. However, im a bit confuse when it comes to the occupation shortage list. Do i have to worry about that if i am switching from a PSW to a tier 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
