Traveling outside the country with BC registration certifica

Dear friends,
Can kids travel outside the country with the BC registration certificate after receiving the registration certificate as BC but before getting British passport? Appreciate any response to this query.

Please note that if the child is a visa national and doesn't have a valid visa/ILR, he might have difficulties boarding a flight. The registration certificate will not be accepted by the airline. On the other hand, fast track passport application takes a week so you can get a British passport quickly after the approval.
