Feb 2013 citizenship- acknowledgement

Post by mred1 » Thu Feb 07, 2013 4:30 pm

Hi,
I just applied for my citizenship, I did late janu. 2013, it was sent back as i omitted some areas, I sent it back immediately and i get an acknowledgement letter 4 days later saying " Your application has now been initially assessed and has proceeded successfully to the second stage of processing". "your case will be submitted to the minister for decision as soon as our enquiries are complete....".. The letter has my application no, Person ID and a receipt of payment. ....Is this the usual letter?

I think it would be a standard thing. However, the next stages are much slower and can take a year, so don't expect to get the decision shortly.
