ILR appointment on 20 feb@croydon, passport validity

Hi Gurus

I booked an appointment(20-feb) with croydon peo for ILR and have a doubt about my passport validity.

My passport expiry date is 18/07/2013. Would you please advice me whether I can proceed with the current PEO appointment or do i need to renew the passport before ilr appln. Thank you very much for your help.
