Post by AUHS » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:51 am

Hi

I am employed/working by my wife's company from which I am receiving around 500 pounds per month.i am getting monthly pay slip and the salary is coming to my account.company is registered on the same address as me.

I have got 2 proofs.

1: pay slip

2:bank statement for salary credit.

I just want to know ,

Will there be any problem for me when claiming points for earning in my extension application.

Many thanks

I strongly believe you will need additional documents to prove since it is coming from your wife's company situated at same premises. The amount paid to you as salary must be from a legitimate source (eg. 3rd party) at your wife's company accounts...

Yes the salary will come from my wife,s company account.

Home office need 2 proof.

Accurate salary slips with tax and national insurance deduction

Bank statement confirming my Salary coming straight from my wife company account.

Which and WHY I need additional documents.

Simple reason as source income address and applicant address is same they might do some verification to eliminate possible fraud(not to offend you) , Just out of curiosity what bussiness your wife does and why are you employed by her rather than patner?

This is definitely quite interesting.

I don't see any real requirement to provide anything extra, however, you do need to be prepared for real close scrutiny of your case. As long as you have done everything by the book (e.g. paying taxes, doing real work for a company trying to turn a profit), I don't see any reason your application would be refused.

However, if your wife's company has been set up solely for the purpose of allowing you to extend your visa successfully, then you may have some trouble. (Your wife should be prepared to answer questions relating to the nature of the business, whether the business is profitable, clients, tax payments, national insurance and anything else which proves that she is running a legitimate business).
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
