Confused

Post by temmyt » Fri Feb 08, 2013 7:47 pm

Hello all. I got my Ilr last year having been on tier 1 and need to bring my baby from my home country since she was not born in uk. I have read the ukba site that says the child cannot apply as the child of settled person if the parents previous leave was PBS. Pleseeeee kindly advice what forms to fill to be submitted in my home country for the child taking into consideration that my partner has 5 year retention of rights in UK. Advice will be appreciated. Thanks

That part of the website is misleading and refers to dependents of PBS migrants who already have leave as PBS dependents but who don't have settlements yet. Your child needs to apply for a child settlement visa.
