Deputation allowance Policy

Post by sprdp89 » Fri Feb 08, 2013 8:35 pm

Hi
I'm basically from India and have work permit of Germany. Due to project requirement I had to move to France for the work.

I have a question, Am I eligible for the project deputation allowance. Is there any German policy related to deputation allowance for those working outside Germany with German work permit. one of my colleague told that he is getting 81 Euro per day as a allowance, hence is this is mandatory law from German Govt.?

This is an immigration forum, so is probably not the right place to ask.

I have no idea what a "deputation allowance" is. But in Germany when you travel for work you are generally paid a per-day rate to cover your expenses. So if you travel to London it is (I'll just make up rates) 120 Euros per day, and if you travel to Vienna it is 105 euros. The typically (or may even be prohibited by law) from reimbursing your expenses when travelling.
