Entry clearance manager

Post by ahussa » Sat Feb 09, 2013 3:16 pm

Hey

My wife has just recently been refused spouse visa from pakistan.

I have just appeal from the uk last week sent papers to leicester.

I know these papers will be sent to visa centre pak in next 4 to 6 weeks but question is when will the entry clearance manager look at my papers?if i receive a notice of receipt from the tribunal advising that tribunal will get in contact within the next 19 weeks then does that mean the entry clearance manager has listed it for appeal and reffused the reconsideration?

Nobody can really answer that as we have no visibility of backlog or queues.

A lot of cases go to the full 19weeks.

guys i dont think cases will go the full 19 weeks... people that appealed in april may time went to court due to spouse visa being so many so appeal were sent court. be positive and inshallah with in 19 weeks you will hear something.

i will re-phrase my question think it has been taken out of context.

Does anyone know when the entry clearance manager looks at the papers for reconsideration? secondly, the letter we get from the tribunal after we lodge appeal is that a mandatory letter sent to us just confirming all paperwork been sent to respondent at visa centre in country of origin, or is it only sent to us because the entry clearance manager has looked at the papers again and decided not to re-make the decision and list it for appeal?

The letter is sent to you as confirmation that all ur docs have gone back and the AIT have given your ECM upto 19 weeks to relook at your folder and see if there is any chance he will overturn. So ECM looks at it anytime in his 19 weeks that he has been given. If nothing happens in 19 weeks then once your deadline passes then it goes court.,

In all honesty they can overturn right up to court date.. There's so many different examples. Some people have been overturned in months/ some a day before court. Some get withdrawn at court. You can't say no one knows. You just have to wait and see what happens now. Usually in their emails they make a point of saying that they try to deal with the case by 3 months. So maybe they will go back to that. Who knows with the embassy.

After 19 weeks go they either send your bundle back or AIT request it back. Usually if bundle comes back they explain why they stuck to their decision or if they haven't had time to look at it. Ect ect. The court usually give you a court date for 8 weeks later but in the letter there is a section which you fill out write your circumstances and the representing home office person may look at it and decide that they may loose in court so he will just withdraw the case or sometimes they don't turn up at all. Then it's all in your favour... I hope that helps.

you can try, n see what happens but i believe by the time kieth vaz even deals with it the bhc will just take as long tryinhg to get the answers. have you kept the photocopies of everything you handed in.

maybe just be patient n see. allah obviously has different plans for you.

Mist people give in everything and get refused and it frustrates them. But nothing you can do. Just make sure you send everything with your appeal with a good letter explaining that you have already sent this all.
