I am in the same situation, waiting since 26 November. The Home Office staff members are so rude on the phone every time we call them and our MP is also proving useless.

I wonder how it can be that if I pay £800 to go down the settled person route I can get a response in one day, however once we went down the EEA2 route it is taking the UKBA a year to reach a decision. This institution is just one big joke.

i completely agree with u, and how come MP cannot do anything? seems like an government institution is more than an MP??? doesnt make any sense....Im so frustrated sending them complaints every single day since 3 months and no response to anything...how outrages is that??

My MP has already contacted HO on several occasions and they dont respond even to her. So it is not of use...I have now requested that my MP raise the question with the Presidency Ombudsman as this is getting just outrages...
