about biometric resident permit

hello guys i have a query if you get your permanent resident permit under eea regulation can your apply for biometric resident permit if you wish ie confirming your status on brp. as i read this on ukba website.

BRP are not applicable to applications under EEA regulations.

A link to UKBA website where you read that would be useful (and if it is the news release about biometrics in the European applications section, then that was posted there by mistake).

[ok what if i have got my permanent resident card under eea regulation then i lost it while i was in the uk what will i do ??????????????


what i read on the ukba website (ie the application form precisely)is that once you have got no restrictions on your immigration status inthe uk eg permanent resident you can apply for brp if you wish.
