Set (O) application after HSMP+ Tier 1 General

Application sent 10 July 2012
Confirmation of receipt of my docs by UKBA received on 30 July 2012
Invitation for Biometrics received 13 October 2012 (done on 15.10.12)
Approval 28 January 2013
BRP Card received 11 February 2013

Total waiting time 6 month and 18 days which is not to far away from the data claimed.

Good luck to those who are still waiting.

Alex1980,

Do you advise doing the PEO appointments then? Did you find the waiting time inconvenient? I had friends who had to retrieve their passports given traveling arrangements and reapply again due to the waiting time.

Hi,

Going for postal application should be considered as a last resort. Its a complete waste of time and nerves. I really regret doing postal application.

My wait is over now, but it was a long and unpleasant.

If you have money for sameday application go for.

And you will have to wait an year from the date on your BRP before you can apply for citizenship. Waste of time. But, it all depends on individual circumstances case being complicated, people unable to find appointment slots or even the extra fee for premium appointments can be expensive for family applications.
