Should i surrender indian passport to get visit visa to indi

Hi guys
I am a EU citizen now and i have not surrended my indian passport, so if i want to visit india for 2 months should i have to surrender my indian passport inorder to get indian visit visa. Please help me out.

yes you need to surrender your indian passport.

You also have 3 months grace period to surrender during which time u r ok to use your indian passport for travel.
