That comment alone would be enough to raise suspicion in my opinion.yogsmith wrote:"we often meet on weekends"
Unless u have bills or bank statement with joint names....on same address, but I guess HO wants to see how genuine is ur marriage.yogsmith wrote:I will be grateful if you let me know the list of documents required for EEA2 FP on the basis of marriage to EEA national. (We got married last year in England). Currently I am holding Tier 1 biometric resident card (work permit).
The main question is:
We are living separately in different cities for the purpose of job. However, we often meet on weekends. We are not living under one roof, will this have adverse effect on my EEA2 application?
These certainly are modern times, and I'm sure it is quite common for partners or husbands/wives to need to work in different locations, and possibly even reside in different locations for work.mimi3 wrote:yogsmith,
I am in the same situation. I wasn't sure if it would be a problem, either, so I applied using an immigration agency. My solicitor did not indicate that there would be a problem with us living separately, entered in both of our separate addresses as required on the application form, and did not ask for photos, emails, etc to prove the validity of our relationship. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.
It is kind of frustrating - who's to say that a non-conventional relationship is any less legit than one in which the wife stays home and doesn't make a living or have a career of her own. These are modern times!
@To all who replied: Thanks for your reply.flipper77 wrote:yogsmith, a few of questions for you:
1. When does your Tier 1 visa expire
2. When last year did you get married?
3. Have you ever co-habited? If so, how long have you been living separately?
