Tier 2 General Entry Clearance Application

I am applying for entry clearance under Tier 2 General for myself and my family. I understand that I have to apply online and submit a printout of the online application along with supporting documents. The online application for the main applicant takes all details about dependants, does that mean I am including my family in a single "main" application or do I have to make a separate application for each dependant.
