NZ citizen in the UK. which visa next?

Hi all, I am an NZ citizen currently in the UK on a 2 year partner visa which expires in june. I am unsure, due to conflicting advice, as to which Visa i need to apply for next. I will be applying based on my relationship with my british partner so do I just apply for another 2 year partner visa or can i apply for longer or even ILR? any help would be soooooo appreciated on this as my head is battered by all of the conflicting stories and advice ikeep getting from various agencies/websites. thanks

As you complete two years residence (in June 2013) in the UK on a spouse visa, you will be able to apply for settlement (ILR) then. This is according to the rules in place for applicants who obtained EC before July 2012.
