spouse ILR qualify period

Hi All,

Could you please help me to find out what will be ILR qualify period for my wife?
I am work permit holder (pre-PBS) from July 2008 and will be applying for ILR in June this year.
My wife got work permit dependant visa June 2012 and came to UK January 2013.

I was going through FAQS for ILR and found in Q12, [ For WP holders (pre-PBS) and HSMP JR migrants covered by HSMP JRs, all dependants qualify for ILR along with main applicant irrespective of length of stay in UK (196D) ]

can someone please confirm that, or if someone can share their personal experience about all dependants qualify for ILR along with main applicant irrespective of length of stay.
