Guys let's be clear about Third Party Funding in UK

Post by khan_81 » Thu Feb 14, 2013 11:06 pm

Hi All,
I have been reading some posts regarding confusion of third party from UK.
Let'c be clear about it, I guess the whole purpose of investment fund is that the money should be available to the applicant and ready to be disposable in UK. So as far as foreign country is concerned third party funding is accepted, but when we talk about UK third party funds Home Office will not accept that as if some applicant has money available in UK from third party, why can't the third party transfer that money straight to the applicant account or joint account in case of Team. It's a common sense and guys don't get confused with it. Let's clear about it, investment money in UK should be in Applicant name or Joint team applicants name.

May be we need to clear this thing. Can you provide any evidence in policy guidance to substantiate your above explanation...

Please provide anything else apart from this:

A bulleted sentence under Point 93 of policy guidance:

"The account must be in your own name only (or both names for an entrepreneurial team) only. Accounts in the name of a business or third party will not be accepted;"

The above point falls under "statement". Meaning, all the bulleted points under point 93 applies only if you want to use bank statement to prove your access to funds. As far as i can think of, this [the above sentence under point 93] clearly doesn't mean third party funding in UK is not allowed at all. It only means you cannot submit bank statement in that case..If you submit a letter from bank instead of statement, bulleted items under point 93 doesn't apply to you but the ones under point 91 does...

The above can be substantiated in point 90 which states that you may submit any one of evidences to claim points.i.e..91 or 93 or 94....
