Should I use a solicitor/lawyer?

Post by screwdriving » Fri Feb 15, 2013 9:35 pm

Hi.

Currently I am thinking about applying for the Entrepreneur Visa to run a business in the UK.
Regarding applying this Tier1, I am looking for a solicitor/a lawyer to help me with the application procedure just to make sure that I will not make any silly mistakes when applying by myself and end up with failing to get a visa.

Now what I want to know is the cost in which a solicitor/a lawyer will charge you for the application. What I heard was between 1500 to 2000 plus VAT (excluding the application fee which is £1,020), but since I only know few cases at the moment, I want to know
1) if you have used any solicitors for your application?
2)if yes, the price you have paid in your case?

I would be more than happy if you can kindly tell me about your case and ideas.
