Business Visa for family visits

Hi all, I have a two year business Visa that i'm yet to embark on my first trip on. This trip will be in the coming few weeks. My question is i'm in the schengen area quite a lot and would like to make subsequent trips to the uk to see friends when i'm on business errands in the schengen. Can i use my business visa for this purpose or this can create issues during entry at the border? I'll definitely be frequenting the uk for business but what if i just want to make a quick stop during a weekend just to see friends or family? I'm a visa national by the way. Thanks.
