Second sponsored job, is a labor market test required?

Post by Ann22 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 12:11 pm

Hi guys, if you know, please advise.....terribly confused...
I know that if you are swithching from a tier 4 general, you are exempt of labor market test for a year, but is it just for 1 job?
if you change employer will they need to do the labor market test?

Thank you!

Hello Ann22,

The exemption from the RLMT only applies to your 'current' Leave to remain. This means that if you've switched from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Gen already, the exemption will not apply for any subsequent application you may want to make.

If you change employer, THEY WILL NEED to complete the RLMT.

You can also go through the relevant section(s) of the policy guidance for sponsors in the link below:

I hope these help.

Cheers
