overseas business

Post by FYK » Sun Feb 17, 2013 8:32 am

Hi,
I wanted to apply for ILR under the category of "overseas business" but i dont have much info. Can anyone guide me how to go about it?
I already have my company registered in uk but my main company is established in my home country.

Thanks in advance,
FYK

There is no such category. According to your previous thread you were outside the uk hoping for your husband to come as in investor but with only £65,000. Is this still the case?

Hi,
There is one category for business and under that comes sole representative for overseas firm.
Yes i am the same one but this time the category is different. Instead of applying as an investor we want to go for the one mentioned above.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... you-apply/

you can only apply for ilr once you have been in the UK in this category for 5 years. In addition, you are referring to 'my company' you can't be a majority shareholder of the company if you wish to apply for this visa.

See here for further guidance
