Appling for BC after October 2013

Im going to apply for BC after October 2013, and a bit confused with a new rules. I did past my Life in UK test, will I need any other prove of English (ESOL levels ect).
If anybody know please answer.

The Life in the UK pass will be fine...that's all you need.

No, you don't need to pass ESOL. Just tick the box on the application "I met the knowledge of language and life requirements to qualify for settlement" AND

I have passed the Life in the UK test and write test number in the boxes.

But the new rules saying that I will need to have ESOL level 3 certificate.
Or is this rule going to affect only Naturalization applicants?

hi every body,
I have passed the Life in the UK test one year ago and submitted when i applied for PR confirmation,now i prepare to apply for BC but idont have life in the UK test number,any thought will be great appreciated.

LIUK test is not required for PR confirmation. Did you get it back from the HO? I suspect they probably didn't record the fact that you passed the test already. You would need to submit the original test certificate.

I didn't get it back,they keep it with them.
do you think I'm in trouble? I don't have any record or cope about the test

I think the new rules is just for settlement not for Naturalisation but in movement now body know whats happning next year anyway I am the same boat as you
