In Process of Separation and Immigration

Post by MissTraveller » Mon Feb 18, 2013 11:49 am

Hi, my husband and I have been separated few months now and his immigration is due. He is applying for the extension for the Tier 1 General HSMP in the first week of March.

My husband doesn't want to simple abandon me so he is supporting me by providing me with the extension alongside his own so I can live and continue working in UK.

would this prejudice my current status even though my husband has given the consent? should such terms be included in a seperation agreements? I have my husband's words that he will do it for me.

Your support will be very much appreciated.

That is sad :/

weird, tthe dependent application has a field that asks if the applicant is separated. guess it is a way of drawing out people who are separated. we have a son he doesn't want to lose. I guess a lawyer would be more helpful in this matter.

Seek legal advice re applying to remain with joint access to your child.
